Room smelled like cigarettes had to spray it to hide the smell

I chose this hotel because of it's location, and the fact that it was relatively inexpensive. The choices of restaurants/ shops in the area was necessary due to pulling a trailer. The front of the house staff was very polite. The building itself is quite old, and evidently the maintenance/ housekeeping staffs aren't up to the task. Carpets were threadbare, walls/ceilings showed obvious age-related repairs that were needed. The large/uneven gaps around the room door were another example of that. My room had a glass shower door that had broken, and was merely replaced by a shower curtain (hung too high) so that the water soaked the floor. Broken glass fell when my hand hit the top rail leaving a pile on the floor. Obvious signs that the shower shelves had been removed without removing the caulk as well. Mold was also very evident along the base. (Glass issue was addressed). The smell of bleach was way too strong throughout the bed linens for my comfort also. All in all, I got my room in the area that I needed, but I would never stop there again if my wife was with me.

Breakfast was just a donut, there was no variety, and after checkout I checked out of the room, but I had to wait for my shuttle until 12 p.m., and the staff kicked me out of the lobby.

The place can be improved physically and cleaner. My door kept getting stuck.

The smell inside the building hallways ,inside the room Dirty floor ,old dirty building paint, dirty looking pool Trash outside the building needles outside trashcan overflowed the whole place look more inviting for crackheads than anything else…. Never ever ever again.

Location, day shift staff were great

Manager was lazy .on nights needs to be cleanup a bit around here .day shift works hard while night shift manager did nothing
