Comfort Inn On the Ocean

The front desk person was amazing; very helpful and considerate.

The facilities were filthy. It was like everything was cleaned with greasy water. Long overdue for basic maintenance. the elevator was missing trim pieces and the gaps were filled with dirt. There was a pervasive damp smell. My wife got ill and we only stayed one night. Fortunately, the front desk person helped terminate our reservation. She was a blessing.

The overall look is outdated...the elevator and the breakfast room look verybworn down...they need a remodel...and the night was very expensive...but al least they were pet friendly amd the staff did everything theybcould to accomodate me

Spacious king room, comfortable bed and a friendly helpful staff.

We were on the third floor. From the lobby you take an elevator to the first floor then out of that elevator to another to reach the third floor. We had a balcony with great ocean views but there was garbage left from a previous occupant and the chairs were very dirty.

Didn’t get much sleep. Drunk guys started banging on our door at 3am. I called the front desk and the guy said they were just drunk and he would speak to them. 5am they were banging on the door again and yelling profanities in the hallway. Called front desk again but nothing was done. We were exhausted when we checked out and we had a 6 hour drive. Other than that the hotel and the breakfast were nice. Too bad the pool and hot tub were not open yet but maybe next time. We would stay here again they just need to do a better job with their security.

Ongoing construction in hallways, noisy. Malfunctioning toilet in room, less than clean bedding, phone not working.
