Thon Hotel Bristol, Bergen

You seriously cannot ask for a better location. It’s right in the center of everything! & only a 4 min walk from the meeting point for most day tours. My room was way better than I expected & the staff were all wonderful & extremely helpful. Extremely happy with my stay here.

Sensational breakfast, even had outdoor tables although weather didn’t make that attractive. Huge bathroom especially for Scandinavian standards. Helpful friendly staff. Terrific location!

Lobby limited and hallway decor horrible and marginally clean that had us scared, unnecessarily about what room would be like. A shame entry created such bad first impression as rest was nice.

Large clean room, great location, very quiet (no noise from other rooms but you could hear street noise with window open), fast wi-fi

Room got a little warm at night (mid September). No open plug available to use (we had to unplug another device)

The location was very good, although our room on level 6 overlooked the square that was extremely noisy on Fri/Sat. I couldn't see anyone in the square but the echo of voices was non stop until approx 4am on both days. The staff were lovely especially the check in team. Very customer focussed. Loved the coffee/water in the lobby. Although we had an espresso machine in the room, this was convenient for a top up. Parking was easy up the road and if you validate your rego in the lobby, you got 20% discount. Still expensive, but it is Norway! Would I stay again? - YES deifnately if not Fri/Sat

The staff were just lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had in a hotel (same with breakfast room). The hotel was funky modern, which we loved.

Well located property, worked by staff who set out to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Rooms are large and well appointed.

Room was small, but clean and comfortable. Short walk from the tram that originated at the airport. Walkable. Fantastic breakfast!
