Thon Hotel Bristol, Bergen

We stayed in suite 702. I loved the huge balcony with great views. The beds were comfortable and pillows fluffy. Lots of hot water and good pressure. So many thoughtful touches like a shoe horn and bathrobes. The breakfast in the morning (which was on the same floor 7 as our room) added so much value to the room cost. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. So much variety and a great way to try new foods. The staff was friendly, attentive and kind. The hotel is centrally located. Perfect for the Christmas market as well as a super short walk to the light rail train to the airport. Shopping and restaurants surround you. We walked the city every day never needing transportation. Easy walk to the Bryggen and Fløibanen.

Great reception people and zone. Clean comfortable room with good size bathroom. Great as a base to go explore or to stay before heading off on tours.

The double room was a bit smaller than expected Window overlooked by office workers, but this could be rectified by drawing curtains obviously TV and film quite complicated to access

Highly recommended, apart from one thing: the single beds are only 75cm wide, and to me this means they are really uncomfortable to sleep in. Otherways great hotel, wonderful breakfast, excellent location.

We had a fourth floor room with a terrific view of the city. The location is great, the room was quiet and clean, the breakfast was a very nice buffet, and the staff was pleasant and helpful.

Good upscale hotel in a great location. Close to bus lines and the harbor, and 1-1/2 blocks away from a parking garage if you drive. Very helpful staff. We didn't want housekeeping while we were there, and on our second day, a bag of fresh towels showed up outside our door. I've never been to another hotel that did that, usually you have to ask. Very good buffet breakfast. The junior suite rooms on on the 2nd floor have balconies, and separate living rooms and bedrooms, although the rooms are small.

L’amabilité et l’esprit du service du staff. L’emplacement, la décoration, le restaurant, le petit déjeuner. Bref une belle expérience.

Le son et vibrations sonores entendu les 3 nuits entre 2h et 4h du matin depuis les chambres 332 et 334. La troisième nuit réveillé tôt, nous sommes allés vérifié d’où venait cette gêne. Depuis le MC Donald situé à l’étage inférieur. Les équipes qui le nettoie oublie que des gens dorment probablement…serait bien que l’hôtel est une discussion avec la direction de Mc Donald… affaire à suivre.
