Priya Homestay Kandalama

The host was great. Breakfast was included. The host provided tuktuk transport and suggestions . The jungle location was nice. Very comfortable villa.

Gemütliche Cabanas mitten im Grünen, schön ruhig und weit weg vom Trubel. Priya und sein Bruder sind sehr nett und bemüht. Tipp: Mit Fahrrad oder Scooter die Gegend erkunden (beides kann ausgeborgt werden). Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und auch das Abendessen einfach köstlich! Klare Empfehlung!

Literie confortable

Beaucoup d'insectes en tout genre, moustiques, blattes... C'est une zone tropicale Ok mais il existe des produits répulsifs. Moustiquaire trouée

Nice food for dinner

The pictures are much better than the real standard.. neglected and quite dirty, holes under the roof don't prevent mosquitoes from entering. Many of them.. Poor breakfast.

Das Haus

Homestay as itself is really cozy and chill. Room was clean, with AC, and has enough space for two backpackers. Breakfast was tasty, everyday it has slightly change which was good. You can plan your time of breakfast depending on your activities. In room is water bottle, kettle, tea and coffee so you can make it anytime you want. Location of the homestay is little bit out of town, so you need to use tuktuk all the time you want to go somewhere, but Priya - the owner owns a tuk tuk and he can give you ride. He is really friendly and he was willing to help us (give us ride, pick us up, give a tour) anytime we ask him or texted him :) So far the best stay in Sri Lanka :)

Location is a bit out of time

El alojamiento era tranquilo, cómodo y limpio. Además Priya fue muy amable y nos ayudó con todo lo que necesitábamos.

Piya and his family were excellent hosts. They gave us space and comfort, they were very kind and helpful. They organized everything what came to our mind. He also showed us interesting places in the area which are not shown on the internet - you have to be a local to know them. The food was delicious and in big portions, and everyday we ate something new. We will definitely visit this place if we are ever again in Sri Lanka. Place is away from a main road which is an advantage and disadvantage - this means the place is very quiet and calm. There are shops with essentials like water and toothpaste very close. But if something is needed - you can get a tuktuk or a bike. There are really friendly people in the area. We felt very welcomed.

Everything was great. Someone can say it was a little time from main road, but that was not a problem for us. Also Piya will help with transport.
