Days Inn by Wyndham Columbus Airport

Bad smell in the bathroom. 4 night stay and my room wasnt checked at all.

Was greeted by a roach. when I turned the light on in the morning to get ready for my event 3 big ones in the bathroom I got ready headed for breakfast while in my head thinking of all the roaches that could be in they kitchen was going to just grab a fruit SURPRISE it’s a scam no breakfast even tho advertised the pool was very nice that’s all they have going

The rooms seem like they are 20 years old. I could feel the springs in the mattress. Worst sleep I’ve ever had. Only thing that was nice was the staff.

The only good part about this hotel and I will say it 1st is the customer service was great. It was great because they worked with us to move to 3 different rooms. My wife and I dropped off our stuff in the room when we checked in and it was very quickly and I mean like 15 minutes quick because we were in town to see a concert so we were rushing to get to the show. After the show we got back to the hotel and within 10 minutes of getting settled I saw one of the walls that looked like it had “paint splats”. Getting a closer look out of curiosity … it was COVERED in black mold! Noticing it now as we are sitting on the bed we looked at the other walls and they had it as well, the lamp shades were covered!! It’s 1 A.m in the morning at this time so I go to the front desk to tell them I refuse to sleep on that room and that entire wing of the hotel needs to be condemned! The woman at the desk was extremely nice about this and showed care and gave me a different room on the second floor because the other was on the 1st floor and across the hotel. I went and looked inside the room before moving stuff and it didn’t have mold but half the light bulbs didn’t work and the AC wasn’t working so I said absolutely not. We get into a 3rd room and as this is happening to me there was a family of mom and dad 3 little kids also walking around to find a room that was good for them and this was the 2nd night in a row they had to change rooms !! My wife’s and i’s 3rd room was acceptable to stay in

The staff was great. The room was okay for our purpose of getting some sleep and a shower for an early flight, but the smell was terrible and the shower never got hot. The whole place just looks like it hasn’t been cleaned well or updated in 30 years. I would book again for a night before a flight though.

The hotel was not clean. The carpets in the hallways needed to be replaced, the ice machine was filthy. The bathroom in the room was not clean. The staff was nice enough. Not a great place to stay.

It was fine.

This is a very old, run down property. Housekeeping is excellent and linens clean, but floors, walls and entire building are literally falling apart.

The floor needed mopped. The TV every 1-2min randomly loses connection “771-DIRECT TV signal loss” The smoke detector started going off 4am. 6am I called the front desk no answer for 15min. She asked me if I could take it down and remove the battery! Then I was told maintenance isn’t here until 15 more minutes. He showed up 730am. So much for sleeping in. No breakfast item, just coffee with a dirty area.
