Villa Grazia

Clean, tidy and wonderful hosts. I can’t believe how cheap this place is considering there’s a continental breakfast and a beach lounger included. Fortunato was ready with recommendations for beaches, restaurants and sightseeing. This property is located in a quiet area and feels authentically Italian. It is only 10 minutes from Tropea on the train but be aware that the trains run a little erratically and the last train is quite early so don’t miss it! I *will* be staying here again.

This property is about a 20 minute walk from the train station which is fine unless you have luggage then it’s a bit of a pain! It is in a part of Italy that requires a car to easily access I feel. I also felt a little uncomfortable in the evening as a female solo traveller walking on my own and some of the men make comments from their car - this is an unfortunate part of travelling as a woman but something to be aware of. However, Fortunato and his family made me feel welcome and safe!

De broers en hun moeder waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was beperkt, maar er werd direct een extra eitje voor ons gekookt. De kamers die we hadden geboekt waren wat klein en onhandig, maar we kregen een gratis upgrade naar twee grote appartementen. Zowel de omgeving als het verblijf waren rustig.

De kleinste appartementen (die we aanvankelijk hadden geboekt) waren erg onhandig qua indeling. Bed zo dicht tegen de muur dat je er bijna niet in kon en in het andere appartement stond de wc letterlijk in de douchebak. Het sanitair was verouderd (douchestang kwam naar beneden vallen). De gastvrijheid en vriendelijkheid van de eigenaren, de mooie tuin en het zwembad maakten de tegenvallers echter helemaal goed.

Czyste pokoje, spokojna okolica, widok z pokoju i basenu super ! Bardzo sympatyczna rodzina, co rano śniadania w stylu włoskim, ale były też tosty z wędlina i serami. Właściciel pozwolili nam zostać po wymeldowaniu na basenie za co bardzo dziękujemy :) tuto bene :)

Fortunato und seine ganze Familie waren alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend..Die Wohnung war picobello sauber und gut ausgestattet.. die Betten waren sehr gut..die Umgebung ist Nachts sehr ruhig und man kann dementsprechend gut schlafen..Die Aussicht vom Balkon war fantastisch..Meerblick Richtung Westen..Sonnenuntergänge...plus Stromboli.. Frühstück typisch Italienisch..meine Frau hat den selbst gebackenen Kuchen genossen..

Die Lage ist ok...aber man braucht zwingend ein Fahrzeug um die Umgebung zu erkunden.. Die Zufahrt zur Villa Grazia ist etwas schmal..und die Parkiermöglichkeiten sind begrenzt..Leider sind die Strassen in einem sehr schlechten Zustand.. Der Weg zum Strand ist weit und zu anstrengend zu Fuss erreichbar.. Toll wäre ein Shuttle Service zum Strand...so wie es das Resort in der Nachbarschaft anbietet...mit den Golfkarts werden die Gäste zum Strand gefahren und abgeholt ..

L'appartement fonctionnel et bien équipé avec une terrasse vue sur mer. Le jardin et la piscine très bien entretenus. L'emplacement avec accès rapide en voiture aux plages de Capo Vaticano.

Literie pas confortable et douche qui mériterait d'être changée. Pas de wifi dans les appartements.
