Travel Inn Perrysburg

This is a tough review to write because I don't want to steer people wrong, but want to give the hotel a fair shake for the price they charged. This hotel was roughly half the price of any other place in the vicinity. For the extremely value-conscious traveler, that might be a good deal, but I think most people would be appalled by the place. The room itself was fairly clean and in decent condition,but the grounds were very poorly maintained with foot-tall weeds sprouting all over the place and little to no maintenance performed on the exterior of the building in the past few years, at least. The location is remote, at the end of a service road, and this is a little disconcerting. Several of the rooms also appear to be used as long-term housing, giving the place the appearance of a shanty-town. If you are a trucker, or a weary traveler just looking for a bed and a hot shower, and you are fairly confident in your ability to deal with any "threat" that might arise, this place could be okay. But if you are traveling with family or concerned about your personal safety and your ability to deal with situations, this is most definitely NOT the place for you.

Needs to be update a bit. Tub was terrible as well. Rusty and all.

the room was clean, but towels were super thin & small, no curtesy cups, no t.v. remote, hangers were hard to get out of the holders as it was covered in paint

I think it is a welfare home for clients. No phone, no TV, funky smelling, motel sign was duct taped to side of office, no breakfast, lots of cars but didn't see anyone staying there, very poor neighborhood. A bad situation all the way around.

It was dirty and broken chairs and uncomfortable

Honestly it wasn’t a great experience but it wasn’t a bad one either. For the low price it’s pretty much what you can expect. The room and decor was outdated but it got the job done and functioned well enough. It was pretty clean, besides the a few flying bugs which congregate around the light fixtures outside and seem to find a way inside the room. My only complaint is the location was very remote and seemed a bit sketchy at first. However, I had no problems during my visit; the area was quiet and no of our property was distributed during the visit.

Location was not the greatest, but I enjoyed the stay.

The only good thing is the cost and the closeness to the job site

Reserved non smoking but got smoking room. Beds were poor and smell bad. No service. Bad location . Overall horrible experience. Never go there anymore.
