Bed was comfortable

Checkout time was listed as 12:00. I received an email from the hotel at 9:50 am that we had to checkout and they automatically turned off power to the TV while I was watching it in the morning. I left shortly after that and asked and the woman at the front desk had no answer as to why that would happen. Also the parking pass no longer worked after I not only paid the $29 for parking but also paid the extra $11 in tax for it.

Larry Taylor, the manager, was warm and welcoming to us and he, somehow, seemed to make personal connections with many folks staying there.

The only things that could have been better were: - One late evening I called the desk to see until what time breakfast was open the next morning (Friday) and he told me 11am. Turns out it was 10am. - Related: there was a guy on the morning shift (blond, tied back ponytail, I think) at breakfast who was very efficient and good, but who was a bit testy. When we came down at 10:50 am that next morning, he told us breakfast had closed. I told him that the man at the desk the night before told us 11am. I told him (not to berate him), but so he could let someone know that we were given the wrong time, and he said in a huffy voice,"Well they were WRONG!" We weren't that concerned because we still could get coffee and a pastry, so I felt his attitude was uncalled for. I saw the same attitude with other customers about petty things, but again, he was otherwise very competent. - On the third day we were there we had to ask for our room to be cleaned. The woman at the desk, Lea?, who was very pleasant asked if it had been cleaned the first day--and it hadn't. That surprised her. At any rate, she had it done right away. These were small, so it won't affect our hotel choices. Everything else was terrific.
