"THE Michigan State Hotel"

This is the best hotel for MSU related travel! My family and I stayed at every hotel in East Lansing before trying this one and I wish we had just started with this one from the beginning. Once again I have learned that you “get your moneys worth” and paying the extra penny for this Marriott turned a stay that we were dreading into a stay that felt more like a vacation. It was so clean, we had so much fun at the lobby bar, and even the other guests were so friendly and happy to be there. We extended an extra night to relax and enjoy the town. Everything is so walkable and the staff recommendations are spot-on. I chatted with many MSU parents at the lobby bar who were there to move their children in and they admitted that they already knew this place was the secret to a comfortable stay in East Lansing. Thank you for your hospitality - see you again soon!

Location, location, location. Close to MSU and places to eat drink and shop. The staff was excellent, responsive and accommodating. Our room was a little worn, especially for the price of lodging.

We had 3 adults and 2 beds which were what appeared to be full sized. So a little tight. There was no refrigerator or microwave, just were used to having the ability to take back leftovers so something I would check for in future. Otherwise was pretty clean and comfortable. Getting into WiFi meant we had to join Marriott Rewards, So just more inconvenient when most hotels don’t require that
