Great location, nice rooms and good view from higher floors.

Sehr zentral gelegen. Freundliches Personal und sehr sauber.

Sehr laut! Die Fenster sind überhaupt nicht isoliert und aufgrund der Lage zwischen drei mehrspurigen Straßen ist es wahnsinnig laut in der Nacht. Es zog durch die Fenster, die sich nicht öffnen lassen. Frühstück gut aber total überteuert.

We have always chosen Steigenberger hotels because they have consistently been excellent in every aspect. Unfortunately, our recent stay at Steigenberger Köln was the worst experience we’ve had. The room was not properly cleaned – we found hairs in the room, the bedsheets were dirty, and even two of the towels were stained. The reception staff were also not particularly friendly or welcoming, which is not what we expect from a hotel of this standard. Another disappointing point was that we tried calling the reception several times during our stay, but only once did someone actually answer the phone. On our last day, we ordered breakfast to our room. We received an email confirming that the restaurant had received our order and was waiting for confirmation from reception. We waited 40 minutes, but nothing arrived. When we checked out, we were simply told that they had forgotten to look at the confirmation. The parking situation was disappointing as well. If you park in the underground garage, you are charged every single time you leave with your car. In other hotels, we pay for 24 hours and can enter and exit as often as needed. Overall, for the price we paid, this stay was absolutely not worth it. Even if this had been a complimentary stay, we would still have been very disappointed. Sadly, we will not be staying here again.

Das Zimmer ist ja schon groß. Die Lage ist gut, so dass man alles zu Fuß machen kann in der Stadt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Betten sind bequem, die Bettwäsche ist angenehm kühl. Die Klimaanlage war Goldwert. Frühstück hatte ich nicht, würde mir ein kleines Business Frühstück wünschen und nicht sehr viel Geld für ein Mega Frühstücksbuffet bezahlen wollen.

Der Preis mit 470 € für zwei Nächte ohne Frühstück ist unverhältnismäßig.
