Classic corporate hotel with all the expected in-room amenities and tea available throughout the day. Staff were pleasant.

The bed was too soft for my liking.

The city centre location of the hotel meant an incredible level of noise. My room was at the back with bars and clubs just behind and the club music was so loud and went on until 2am. The hotel itself also seemed to be noisy with sound travelling from corridors and rooms. I hardly slept and at 1.30am I went down to the front desk to see if I could change rooms and they said there weren't any - also that someone else had asked. They said they would contact the nightclub to ask them to lower the music. The most important thing for me is to be able to sleep in a hotel and this was very difficult at this place. Also, breakfast did not start until 8am the following day, which is pretty late, so I had to miss breakfast to get my ferry. They gave me a takeaway breakfast that was awful, two pieces of white bread with low quality ham and cheese, an orange and a small cheap drink. Well below what I would expect - and really breakfast should be open from at least 7am, even on a religious holiday. The room was small, not brilliantly cleaned but the beds were comfortable. Given the extreme noise issues, could not stay again. Also beware that the narrowness of the car park entry and exit can make it difficult with a large car.
