Not much to like.

This hotel is in really rough shape. I have no idea how it was given the score it had, or how it could possibly be a Red Roof Plus, which we trusted to be accurate. It’s located in a rough neighborhood. The hotel grounds are not well maintained, large pieces of paint are falling from the ceilings in the walk ways and just left on the ground. The container on the shower wall for shampoo was empty. There was a coffee machine in the room but no coffee. And the coffee that was available in the lobby was horrible. We didn’t even want to stay there but they would not refund our money, claiming it was inside the 24 hours cancellation period. What a scam! You somehow get a good rating on the booking site, people book a room, then show up and find out the hotel is NOT what it was represented to be, and you’re out of luck. I’m not happy with this Red Roof hotel nor Booking.com. I won’t use either ever again!

Upgraded interior was nice. It was more modern then the building. The doors locked to keep people out of the various floors. The stairs were throughout the building. They were clean and accessible.

Go locked out of the building when trying to use the elevator. Could not get back in and key card did not work the majority of the time on the outside doors. The locks to the Stairs were not working so people could access the various floors without a key card.

Everything was clean and it was very convenient to be able to sleep the whole family in one suite.

The beds looked comfy

Within 5 minutes of being in the room there was spiders crawling on the ceiling and a couple of bugs in the curtains. We packed up and left.

Unfortunately, I cannot identify any positive aspects of my stay. My experience was overshadowed by unsanitary room conditions, a strong sewage odor, and unprofessional interactions with staff, which resulted in me checking out only a few hours after arrival.

I had a very disappointing experience from the moment I arrived. During check-in, I encountered issues with staff regarding my minor child not having identification. The situation was eventually resolved, but the employees were rude, argumentative, and spoke to me in a belittling manner rather than professionally addressing my concerns. After checking into the room, I discovered visible urine and feces around the toilet area that appeared not to have been cleaned from previous guests. There was also a strong sewage odor coming from the bathroom that filled the entire room. The smell was overwhelming and made the room uncomfortable to occupy. Because of the unsanitary conditions, the sewage smell, and the poor treatment I received from staff, I chose to check out after only a few hours rather than stay the night. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had, and I do not feel that the property met basic standards of cleanliness or customer service.
