Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz

There is nothing particularly wrong with the hotel but I left not super impressed. There is a nice eighth floor lounge, which provides some extra space but the hotel rooms are tiny, although well appointed. The shower is brilliant. But the location is fine, but not really beautiful or exciting. Perhaps the best part of the hotel is the breakfast which is really phenomenal. The staff at the restaurant were great. The staff at the front desk was only OK.

We stayed at several properties throughout Norway, this was our favorite. The staff was extraordinary, giving great recommendations and very accommodating...super customer service oriented. The hotel was warm, welcoming, breakfast was amazing! They have nominated as one of Norways best! All around, A+++ I don't give the best reviews easily!

Excellent location close to National Theater metro/train stop. Also, close to all major attractions. Very good breakfast with many options .

Hotel room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was delicious and had a big variety to choose from. Front desk personnel was very helpful and friendly

The staff were very welcoming and assisted us with restaurant recommendations. They did a great job of helping us get settled and answered all of our questions at check in and throughout our stay.

Absolutely wonderful hotel in a gorgeous location. The hotel was extremely clean, the staff was so friendly and kind, and the free breakfast was the best I've ever had in my life. Also had a great dinner with fantastic food and drinks. The gym is fully stocked with everything you could need, and it has a nice lounge. 10/10, no complaints!

Basically 4 small cushions. They made sleeping very difficult. In hindsight I should have probably asked for an alternative but I assumed this was the standard throughout the hotel. This rather ruined the stay for me as I didn’t sleep well on any of the nights.
