Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham York

I tried checking in and the woman at the front desk refused. Said the rooms weren’t ready. I asked if I could check in and come back for my room number and card and she said no. Refused to even try. I asked if I could see a room since looking around the hotel looked very dirty and she said no. We ended up going elsewhere and being treated kindly and respectfully. I travel a lot almost twice a month and never in 10 years of travel have I experienced this!

The staff and the cleanliness

unsanitary bedding, very rude/poor customer relations. There was no breakfast, pool or elevator. Wouldn't give discounts as listed.When I first called the owners son said it would be $145. a night. I told him it was $110. online. He said he would check with someone but never got back on the phone, so unfortunately I booked on one.

The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. My room was clean and neat and my stay was peaceful and quiet.

There are no elevators to this 2 story motel/hotel unfortunately.

Close to casino and restaurants

Bathroom fixtures in poor condition and need replacement. Needs refreshing everywhere.
