Thon Hotel Terminus

Unsafe, unfriendly, aggressive. We (my family of four) checked out within an hour of arriving as the atmosphere was aggressive, with groups of young men hanging around and no visible staff at the reception desk. All doors left open, no sense of security, no one to help. We did not feel safe at the hotel, either in the public areas or our rooms. Contacted head office immediately but they couldn't care less; I've contacted customer service, the PR dept, even the CEO, I've tried a chargeback...but Thon Hotels have been unhelpful at every turn. The website states that it is family friendly and that Thon Hotels welcomes guests, but our experience with Thon Terminus and Thon Hotels has been adversarial at best. I had paid for two rooms for three nights for my family and they will not refund a penny, even though they confirmed they rebooked the rooms.

I’ve stayed at Terminus several times. The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of Oslo Central Station, concert venues, and Karl Johan. Nice rooms and an excellent breakfast.

NICE EXPERIENCE FOR OUR TEAM! 1、Very convenient transportation. 2. Although the room is not very large, it is very clean and tidy. 3. The service was extremely good. This hotel provided the best experience during our trip to Europe this year. 4 The breakfast was very abundant.

By far this is the nicest hotel room I have ever had in Oslo or its vicinity. Stylish, modern and spacious. Friendly reception and a breakfast that, while not mindblowing, meets the expectations. Most amazingly, its quiet despite the central location. I used to rent a room in the same neighborhood in my 20s, and the contrast is striking. So why not 5 stars? The main shortcoming is a small one, and a common one, but nevertheless unforgivable. The pillows in the bed are way too soft. A less serious shortcoming was that it was impossible to adjust the shower screen correctly, so that the bathroom floor got flooded every time I showered. But if these shortcomings were fixed, for instance by offering a pillow menu, this would definitely be 5 stars.
