Disgusting, unsafe, bugs, holes in the walls, smoke detector broken

The staff I spoke with was pleasant. The location was easy access from I95. In their defense, it appears that they are undergoing renovation, but that information wasn't on the ad for the room

Bar/chain lock on the door was broken. The room was cold, even after I turned on the heat. The bed was so high that I literally had to jump up onto it. The mattress was lumpy and tilted. It was very uncomfortable. It was supposed to be a suite. There was a small kitchenette with a two-burner stovetop, but there were no pots, dishes, or utensils. I didn't even look in the fridge. The only access for my 2nd floor room was from the outside climbing a flight of steel steps covered in snow and ice from the recent storm. They hadn't even cleared the steps or salted them. They were unsafe, and I nearly fell more than once. When I checked out, I had to ask for a receipt. I've been a Choice Hotel group customer for decades. This was the worst experience I'd ever had.

I never leave reviews but this property was so bad I left and went to another hotel. The room looked like it was under active renovation with exposed wiring and a hole in the wall. The blinds didn't close. There was no hot water. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. And to top it off there was no fire alarm; it had been completely removed.

Room was literally covered in mold.

Smashed roaches on the walls. Overflowing toilet and wet floor. The card did not work both nights to get into the room. The worker even laughed when I told them about the card not working for the second night. Do not recommend. You can stay anywhere else with much better conditions.

The place was in shambles. Peeling paint everywhere. Floors dirty not swept or washed. The towels in the room were dirty and had hair on them. The toilet had public hair and urine on it. Even the sheets on one of the beds were ripped. This is the worst place I have ever stayed. I was embarrassed and disgusted.

I declined the offer to stay filthy place I wouldnt leave my dog there!

The room was dirty tv didn’t work holes in bathroom door dresser drawers were broken. How this place stays in the choice hotel family is beyond. Stayed one night it was late and no other hotels had rooms.

Smoke alarm beeped all night and phone to call front desk wasn’t working to ask for assistance. Area did not feel safe. Front desk staff was friendly, but we will be looking for something nicer next time.

I paid for the room online, but also got charged again for the room upon arrival. I waited 15 minutes when I arrived for someone at the desk to assist me. The room had broken items like the towel racks, toilet paper holder, and door lock to the bathroom. I could not figure out how to use the tv with the app that the tv said to use. I was glad that I was only there for 6 hours to get some sleep.
