Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown

JD provided excellent service and conversation. He really made it an enjoyable experience. Thank you sir. Little did he know, but we had just received some disturbing news regarding the hotel. Hotel was close to Broadway

After arriving, I was told we had to pay $60/night for parking and that even though my booking was for my family of 4 we only received free breakfast for 1 person.

Love the location. The hotel was festive and fun for Christmas. I love that there are lots of different sitting areas. Restaurant food is excellent.

Sometimes there is a long wait for the elevators. But this was minor.

I absolutely love the hotel, aside from the friendly staff and the clean rooms my favorite staff member was my valet Yg. Second I arrived and talked to the valet host, Yg came by to take my car and was very professional and even went out of his way to make sure my car was fully warmed up before I use it again every single time. I didn’t think a valet would go out of his way to take care of my car that much 10/10 experience will definitely come back anytime I wanna stay in downtown.

Location was decent enough. Much of our activities were within walking distance and Ubers were prompt when needed and the although the architecture was typical of mid 1970s high rise hotels with soaring atriums and “city view” restaurants on the roof but with some interesting atrium details lending a more complex architecture than initially meets the eye.

The shower stopped working and we were delayed in leaving due to needing to wait on the repair instead of being offered another room to take a shower in. The repair guy was very professional. We had pre paid for the stay but when we checked out they re ran our card and we were charged again. They reversed the charges but the pending status locked out our credit for several days. A week later we are notified that this hotel charged us again! The excuse was that there was an accounting error. They promised to reverse the charges again and I requested a receipt instead they sent my old folio from a week ago. Their excuse was to blame the third party booking company for the error even though it was the Sheraton that made the decision to recharge the card without speaking with either me or the third party. Also, at the time of the first attempt to double charge for the stay I presented a receipt showing that the room had been paid in full. I will never do business with this hotel chain again. Their accounting department and management have shown a great deal of incompetence with regards to the handling of my stay that is very nearly bordering on fraud.

Location was nice but parking was horrible. No carts available for people doing self parking

They changed me twice because I booked on Booking.com. Took two weeks to get my money back. I contacted them and they forgot to do it.
