Dirty entrance, someone urinated in the stairs and threw food and bones. No air freshener.

A bit tight for space since there's nowhere to put your large bag/suitcase. Entrance to hostel is a bit unmaintained (smell of urine, open public access, chicken bones, fish head lol) as it's a shared staircase so can feel slightly sketchy. However, i understand hostel is limited in controlling this and once inside the secured door of hostel, everything is fine.
MY1. Value of money for backpackers. 2. Centralised and everything within walking distance, including local attractions. 3. Bed & pillow + blanket are comfortable. 4. Cold & hot water shower with good water pressure. Towel provided. 5. Clean & tidy with security.
1. Surrounded by not well-maintained old buildings. But 'hey', it's a budget accommodation location. 2. It is difficult for Muslims to perform prayer due to the limited availability of space, but you can use the living space. 3. The corridor for the cubicle in the room is narrow, but I'm OK with it. 4. Be prepared for rooms with no windows and a blast of AC. A hostel blanket saved me.
