Proprietor Rossella was welcoming and helpful, including transportation from and to the ferry port. She had many suggestions of things to do. The breakfast buffet was lovely and available 24 hours. The camera da letto was clean and modern, bagno was perfect, great shower. The location was a lovely part of Salerno, and our walks around town showed interesting slices of Salerno life. We went swimming at a nearby beach - nice water, rocky beach. Easy to access our room with an elevator up. You will like B&B Orchidea.

The accommodation is spotlessly clean, everything looked new or at least very well maintained, and the bed was very comfortable. There are multiple breakfast options which, depending on your expectations and where you come from, might not be impress you, but for an italian accommodation it was an outstanding breakfast. There are also discounts available at nearby restaurants and bars that we took advantage of almost every evening coming back "home" :) Even more importantly, Rosella is a wonderful host, very attentive and helpful. We were renting a car and she helped us arrange parking at a garage across the street on short notice, and then offered multiple recommendations including some less known places that we might enjoy visiting in the area, outside the usual tourist itineraries. Those actually ended up being some of the highlights of our visit. By talking to other guests, we also noticed she was tailoring her recommendations based on what we might like and the way we traveled. The location was also great for us, with easy access by car, and close to the SITA buses end of the line station (4 minutes walking distance), the train station (10 minutes), and the city center is around 15-20 minutes away by foot (there's also a bus station right across the street if you prefer it to walking). It's in a quiet neighborhood (as quiet as Salerno can be) where we felt perfectly safe walking or chilling at the Utopia bar across the street until late at night. It's our 4th time in Italy and this was by far the best accommodation we stayed at.

The hotel is mega cool, the woman who runs the hotel is very responsive and pleasant😍 Clean, beautiful, there are breakfasts, the price is reasonable 😌 The owner advised where to go, what to see in Salerno, thank you very much 😍I am very glad that we found this particular hotel, because we will stay from Italy good memories 😍

Despite not being in the old town it's located in a very nice neighborhood only 12 minutes walk either from the Railway Station or from the port. Nice and very clean room. Good breakfast. Rosella is a super kind host. This is the best place to discover Amalfi Coast, Napoli, Pompeii. I hope I can come back soon!
