Salina Ambassador Hotel and Conference Center

The staff is not very professional with respect to how they handle check-ins. The hotel and room both smell musty and are not clean. It appears they replaced the toilet however, no one seemed to be too concerned with the fact that the bathroom sink countertop which extends off to the side and over the toilet, will now not allow you to put the seat and cover up without having to stand there and hold it up while using it. Obviously, the management does not care about the facility whatsoever or the level of experience that their guests will endure. Strongly do not recommend staying at this property.

The hostess, desk clerk, was sweet and very helpful.

Clean and friendly

Looks abandoned because it’s so dark. Appeared clean but could use some updating. Was in good location and price point for what we needed.

Hotel was an older building but still nice. Had all the rooms on the inside. Only thing that was sad was that the place used to have an indoor pool with slide and sauna but it was no longer in service.

Sadly delapidated and a lot of questionable charaters were lingering at entry to building which looked uninhabitable. We went to another hotel.

Found it discriminating that because of my phone number they would require a $150.00 cash deposit, just in case I might steal a towel or smoke in the room. Remembering back to when this was the Holidome and had shared many family reunions there. Sad to see this Establishment deteriorate. Not a plus for the area. 🙁😢

just a one night stop ok

It’s an old place but for the price it is just fine.

I like the open atrium in the center of the hotel. I do not like that the pool is closed, the breakfast is weak and the plumbing is poor. Our sink did not drain, the bathtub stopper was out of the hole and in the middle of the tub. The air conditioning was okay but not as cool as other hotels that we have stayed at in Salina. The price was good but I guess you get what you pay for.
