Nice property, clean rooms. The only complaint I have is the air conditioning units are motion sensed, so they turn off when you're not in the room..or asleep. It was stiffling hot at night because of this.

This hotel could use some updating but because of its staff and location, I consider it the best hotel in Charleston. I don’t care about cheap free breakfasts or free cocktail hours with bad wine and cheap beer, so this is the best option in my opinion.

I’ve been traveling to Charleston for business regularly over the past 8 years, and every single time I’ve chosen to stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Charleston. The hotel has always been a solid option: great location, comfortable rooms, and a friendly team. I’ve genuinely enjoyed staying here, and one added convenience has been the staff's consistent willingness to receive and store packages I order online during my U.S. visits — something I greatly appreciated. However, my most recent experience has unfortunately changed my opinion completely. In December, I ordered a $500 dress for my wife, which didn’t arrive before I left. The hotel manager kindly offered to store it for me until my return in early January. But when my January trip was cancelled due to snowstorms and I followed up with the hotel, the package was nowhere to be found — despite having proof of delivery, including the name of the assistant manager who signed for it. What followed was a deeply frustrating and disappointing chain of events. I tried calling the hotel multiple times from different numbers, but after a while, it became clear that any number I used was being flagged as spam — forcing me to use other means just to reach the front desk. The assistant manager asked me to send all documentation — purchase proof, tracking info, delivery confirmation, receipts — and provided an email that never worked (just like all the other email addresses publicly listed for the hotel). I also emailed the manager multiple times, but he never responded. After years of loyalty — not just from me but from my colleagues as well — I’m sad to say that we’ll no longer be staying at this property. And the most frustrating part? It seems like no one at the hotel cared. To be clear: I understand that receiving packages is not a formal responsibility for a hotel. But had someone simply responded or provided a clear, professional path forward, I would have likely continued staying here, including on my last trip to Charleston, when I had to choose another hotel. I truly hope this feedback is taken seriously — this hotel has so much potential, but it was let down by poor internal communication and complete lack of accountability.
