La Coquillade - Gite

Bon séjour seul problème pas de clim car très chaud dans la chambre

Located in the centre of the old village of Autignac, the La Coquillade - Gite is a quaint group of accommodations around a courtyard with central swimming / plunge pool. Parking was on street but safe and our apartment was accessed through a small door off the street and through a covered passageway that we referred to as "the cave". This was a cool spot where you could sit to avoid the extreme summer heat. Although described as a two bedroom apartment, the second "room" was only separated from the walkway by a curtain. The main room featured low swooping ceilings by virtue of being in the roof space. The small kitchen and sitting/dining area was reasonably well equipped for simple cooking, but was a little cramped for four adults. During our stay in early June, much of southern Europe was suffering from a heat bubble making it incredibly hot (35 - 38C). The pool was a Godsend but evenings were somewhat uncomfortable with only fans for ventilation/cooling. The pool was unavailable after 9 pm so no relief could be had there. The village had minimal facilities - a shop, a bar/restaurant and a post office within easy walking distance but was pretty in its own right and worth a walk. Sophie the owner was friendly, helpful and generally on hand with some English spoken - Google Translate is always on hand to help out in an emergency.

Nous avons eu une belle conversation avec les propriétaires au petit déjeuner, ce qui était génial. Ils ont aussi un gentil chien. Nous y retournerons. La ville est très attrayante

Wir sind auf unseren Roadtrip auf diesen Schatz gestoßen. Sophie und Stephane sind herzliche Gastgeber mit liebe zum Detail. Auch Mao ( der Hund) hat unser Herz erobert. Das Zimmer reicht vollkommen aus und ist super süß eingerichtet mit allem was man braucht. Man fühlt sich wie in einem kleinen verwinkelten Paradies, märchenhaft ! Wir hoffen, dass wir bald wieder zu Gast sein dürfen :)

Mycket trevligt välkomnande av ägarna i charmigt gammalt byhus. Fin pool på den fina innergården. Byn ligger i fantastisk omgivning av små charmiga byar och i Languedocs oändliga vinodlingar.

séjour de courte durée (1nuit) mais a refaire. ce petit village nommé Autignac de 1000 habitants est très accueillant avec ces rues étroites typique des villages méditerranéens . en ce qui concerne la Coquillade, les propriétaires sont Super accueillants, et on sent qu'ils adorent leur région même ci celle-ci n'est pas leur Terre Native. Merci pour ce séjour de rêve.

Nous avons été très bien acceuillis, Sophie et Stéphane sont très à l'écoute des invités. Le site est très calme et réposant, nous avons passés une bonne nuit. La chambre ainsi que le linge de literie était impécable, le lendemain le petit déjeuner était copieux, croissants, pain frais, beurre, confiture, etc... En résumé, un très bon souvenir que nous consellons vivement
