Student's Hostel Della Ghiara

The location was wonderful! The building itself was very lovely and had lots of hangout spots on the property.

Bathrooms were dirty, room smelled profusely of cigarettes. We booked a room with a double bed and a bunk bed but instead got two bunk beds which was manageable but not what we booked. Check in was horrible-- we waited 25 minutes at the reception desk after trying to get the attention of a group of attendants who were loudly arguing in the kitchen next door. After we did get their attention we were told to wait 5 more minutes but all they were doing was arguing. Would not recommend nor stay here again unless it is a convenient location for you.

Quiet, inside room overlook pretty courtyard, good hot chocolate and croissant for breakfast

I booked (via booking.com) a twin room, but there was a double bed and bunks in which the lower was barely sufficient for me (not a tall person) to sit up and read. (I no longer climb into upper berths.) Also paid for en suite, but got shared facilities across the hall (in March; never saw anyone else in the shared facility, as the hostel was sparsely occupied at the time). (The receptionist said the different room was a decision of booking.com, not of the hostel.) The rate was very low, and we old campers were content there.
