Good place to stay

Note on office door said to register at Econo Lodge across the street. Not a huge deal but a bit of a pain. They had been doing some updates to the room. When we walked in it smelled like urine. There was an old stove that didn't look in the best of condition with pots and dishes in the cupboards and full size fridge. The Air Conditioner worked but had a very noisy fan. For what we paid which was cheap so did the job for the night.

A little run down but the owner was very friendly and the bed was comfortable.

Obviously there's been some effort to update, and was so pleasantly surprised with the updated tub and vanity

Old appliances, faucets, lamp, mattresses, no screens in windows, no toilet paper in one of the rooms or batteries in the remote, the bathroom knob was jiggling and the door stuck.

The pool was very nice, clean and warm. The gentleman who checked us in at the front desk was absolutely fantastic, and even went out of his way to help us out with some toothpaste. Our room was very cosy and tidy. Will definitely come again!
