What a beautiful place , an absolute Gem !

We felt really welcome by the host. She was incredible, going far beyond her duties. She made our experience very special. The place is an authentic village house, in a very small town, carved in the mountain looking at the lake. Great breakfast with local cheese, pastries, etc. If you like antiques, you will not be disappointed with their collection, but still the room have modern amenities.

Over the years, I have stayed in many different places around the world, I have been working in the tourism industry for more than 20 years. Some travelers look for luxury suites and designer hotels. Personally, I have always been drawn to places with history, philosophy, soul, and traditions — and this is exactly that kind of place. This is not a museum exhibit, but rather a living theater where history continues to exist naturally and beautifully. Staying here feels like stepping into a nearly 200-year-old story, as if you were traveling in a time machine. The views of the mountains and Lake Como are absolutely breathtaking, especially in the early morning when the first rays of sunlight paint the landscape in soft golden colors. These are moments you simply never forget. At first glance, the rooms may seem ascetic to some guests. A creaking antique dresser or the absence of a television might surprise some people. But if you are looking not for standardized hotel luxury, but for a genuine experience and atmosphere — if you came to Como not for an Instagram photo, but for emotions and authenticity — then you are absolutely in the right place. Breakfast on the terrace is a special ritual and one of the warmest memories of our stay. We would especially like to mention the genuine care and warm hospitality of Signora Cinzia, as well as the wonderful Motti family, who run the albergo and Da Luciano - Bottega e Caffe'.
