Buffalo Bill Cabin Village

Very comfortable bed

We stayed here from a Friday to Monday. Wish they would lay off the air fresheners, super strong. Wish it had a microwave and refrigerator but it was a very nice small but cozy 2 bedroom cabin. Both my girls got their own bed for those days!

Shower was amazing. Room was clean but because it was a two bedroom cabin, there was no place to sit other than straight back chairs which were not comfortable. The description of the cabins mentioned a coffee make but there was not one. No one mentioned to us that there was no breakfast available except at a restaurant on site that charged. That was interesting because the Buffalo Bill Village provided a rather lavish breakfast at their main office for guests at a nearby hotel. While the stay provides a touch if history, a little modern convenience would have been appreciated.

Good room

Well.... the cabin is nice, but 1 hour after falling asleep there were loud bangs and sparks shooting from inside the bathroom wall due to an electrical short. The smell of burnt electrical insulation filled the cabin and the cabin adjoining mine as well as affect two other cabins. The adrenaline dump caused me to pack everything in a hurry to vacate the cabin fearing it was going to catch on fire. Unfortunately the property was fully booked, I asked for a refund that I haven't seen yet, and went up the highway to sleep on the side of the road on BLM land. I'm not sure what the other 3 cabin occupants ended up doing. It was nice visiting with them for the brief time though. This was not the way i expected to kickstart a 4k mile road trip. on the positive side, the lady at the front was super sweet. The cabins were nice. And I'm sure i would have had a great stay if a technician wasn't playing with electrical boxes at 10pm.

I did not go there and rented another falicity because my friends stayed there a few weeks ago and said the beds were outdated with coil springs in the Matress that they all had trouble sleeping and woke up with sore backs. I already have a bad back and could not risk it. It needs to be removed from Expedia.

What a fun place to stay. Your own little cabin super comfortable & convenient to all the downtown Cody attractions. Would definitely stay again!

Private and quiet.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Pulled right up to the door, got out and had her our own private little cabin. We loved it!
