Agriturismo San Marcello

We loved the family that ran this establishment! Couldn't have been more helpful arranging fun. Offered us local spots, as well as the must do tourist sites. Fantastic breakfasts, al fresco, or in a charming lounge, with cappuccinos to start the day right. Our room was clean, comfortable and so romantic. Pool was beautiful, and the grounds are lovely. I still smell honeysuckle and roses. It's right in the middle of everything, which made for short beautiful drives to get to each town. Book it, you'll love it!

The agriturismo is in a beautiful valley, a close drive to several charming Tuscan towns which we enjoyed visiting. Andrea and his father are very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. The pool is beautiful and very well maintained. We enjoyed using the barbeque as well. Overall the hotel is very clean, in very good condition. We also enjoyed renting mountain bikes one day from the hotel and discovering the local hills. The breakfast was very nice and the local cold meats were delicious.

Whilst delicious, the breakfast choice was quite limited, especially for vegetarians, and we grew quite bored of it after a few days. Just beware when booking that not all rooms have a kitchenette and the room we booked was not the same as in the photos in the listing. However the staff were very accommodating and changed our room after a couple of days.

A lovely clean property that had tasteful decor and absolutely stunning views

The breakfast was good, but options were the same each day and lacked variety. But it was fine for a few days.

Amazing place, right in the heart of Val d’Orcia — perfect for visiting all the main sights in the area. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, they give you detailed instructions about the best place to visit and try Tuscany cuisine. Breakfast was delicious, though it starts a bit late if you’re planning an early start.

This place exceeded all our expectations – truly heaven on earth. It feels even better in real life than in the photos – incredibly beautiful, warm, and homely. The hosts were absolutely wonderful – so kind, welcoming, and attentive. We nearly cried when it was time to leave.

The owner is very helpful and responsible. The view is so great. Me and my family really enjoyed the stay.
