Location was great

We were refused the stay. With no proper notice. We booked this place in the morning, got the confirmation. We asked about the parking on site and were told to look elsewhere. We arrived 2 hours before check in time to see if room was ready and were told to come back later as receptionist wasnt there. We went to nearby town Tore del Mar for lunch and a walk and then came back to check in. We were told that our booking was cancelled and they send us a message, which we havent received. So we had to go back to Tore del Mar to find alternative stay...Turns out that response to our question about parking was about our booking and not parking, but from the context and text of that message it was not clear that our booking was cancelled. Terrible commubication and unpleasant staff. Booking.com customer service was very helpful though and gave us a bit of credit to cover the difference in price of alternative accommodation.
