They accepted our online booking, but upon arrival we were told there were no rooms available. We were asked either to cancel the reservation ourselves or to move to one of their affiliated hotels. However, the affiliated hotels were also fully booked. After being transferred between several hotels, we eventually found a room. Despite the inconvenience, no apology or compensation was initially offered. We were later told by a staff member at the Sonesta @ Energy Corridor, affiliated hotel that a $10 discount would be applied if we stayed there. When we arrived, the staff member denied authorizing the discount and charged us the full price.

There were no clean towels the entire stay. My Thanksgiving Day was a disaster because I couldn’t shower. I was told the housekeeper wasn’t working. Unacceptable!
