Comfortable beds. Quiet location, close to the subway station - easy to travel around NY.

Breakfast was in general ok, but they could include some proteins and fresh fruits or vegetables

L Hotel Review If you just need a bed for the night before moving on to somewhere else, then the L hotel would be an excellent choice. However, if you were here on holiday, then the L  hotel would not be a good choice. Therefore, it is either a 4 or 5 star rating for an overnight stay. Or a 2 star rating for a holiday location. The price for the L hotel is probably double what I would pay in London or in the UK for what I received. However, the American market may determine the pricing of this hotel rather than the management and their attempt to profit.  There is no hot breakfast available at the L  hotel. However, if you love waffles, you  would be very, very happy, the breakfast room was very small.  There  only Seemed  to hold a handful of people at a time. So you will need to get up quite early or come  an hour before they close. About 9 AM seemed to be a time when everyone had finished and gone onto their next location For some reason there was no wardrobe space. This only goes to confirm this is a transitory hotel, rather than a holiday one. The hotel seemed clean and staff friendly. Perfectly adequate for what is required The water quality was quite poor. Free water was available from a dispenser in the breakfast room/restaurant. But as you'll see from the picture I have attached, it was quite misty, almost milky. I therefore decided to purchase water for my family instead of risking what may come out of that machine.  So how would I rate the L hotel? Well, I'm going to give it 4 stars.  I could have given it 5 stars, but for the water situation. For if you need a bed Just for the night before you go onto your next venue or cruise or holiday location.If it was a holiday venue, it would be 2  star because there are many things that you would need on holiday that it would not provide, I would certainly recommend the L hotel for a pre cruise stay if you're cruising out of Brooklyn.
