Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces

Great location

Went to the bar for a coffee mid-morning. Max gave me great service. she was very friendly and hospitable and professional.

We stayed the weekend of May 29th - May 30th for our goddaughters Quinceañera held at the hotels venue. The staff was amazing from start to finish in the venue! Max went above and beyond for our family and honestly without the help things would have been a bit more stressful! Thank you again!! As far as the hotel stay goes it was good overall. Staff was amazing upon check in and check out! Did read reviews to ask for microwaves and mini fridges ahead of time which I did along with extra towels and blankets. We got those but I had to call to get the microwave and mini fridge when we arrived and it was not in our room. We did think they would have a little store for the kids to get snacks and such as I normally travel with those things from OKC, but in this case took a chance and the little store inside was more souvenirs than anything but they did have some drinks and candy. I will say location was great there are plenty of places to eat at along with the hotels restaurant's. The day of the party my heel broke and the mall was conveniently across the way so I ran to buy another pair of heels so that was a great thing for me! Overall we enjoyed our stay, rooms are a little outdated and outlets to plug things in got a little tricky but we managed! Our kids enjoyed the pool!

This is the second time we stayed at the Encanto while driving to Texas from Phoenix. Our first room was especially nice, conveniently located near the elevators. Since we had dogs with us, that worked out well. View was nothing more than the roof of the pool. On the second trip, without the dogs, our room was much further along a corridor but we had a nice review outside. However, imagine my surprise when I pulled the comfy chair out of a corner and a crumbled, rumpled sheet (?) was in the corner. We called the front desk who sent someone up to collect it in a short time. But the highlight of this hotel has to be breakfast. Such a lovely wait staff, Max was informative, warm, proud of what she does. Her recommendations were happily taken and fully followed when she suggested sliding our over easy eggs between the pancakes. Wonderful! All the staff we met were friendly and helpful, so A+++ to them.

We went to the restaurant for breakfast and Shannon was our server.She did a great job making sure that we had everything we needed! So nice to have a server that actually does her job well and with a smile. We'd also like to commend the chef Zaier. The food was excellent! We highly recommend eating here! Front desk also VERY professional. Only complaint was that their were no luggage carts! which is unacceptable for such a large Hotel. Maybe putting a tag on the carts will help you to track them better but honestly you should have more. No valet in sight. There were people smoking marijuana by the pool which I find unacceptable as there were children in the area. When we tried to address it we were told that it's legal in New Mexico. I don't accept that your hotel that prides its high standards should allow that. The property was beautiful!
