Apartments Historic Stone House

Here is an honest description of the Apartment - without passing any judgement whether things were good, bad or indifferent. First off, there are more than one Apartment in the listing that you would read on Booking.com. Please make sure which Apartment you are applying for ......since they have different configurations and the photos are quite mixed. The Apartment which we had opted for was in a loft having sharply slanting ceiling and big, sturdy rafters jutting out of the ceiling. It has one big room which has two single beds placed together and pushed under the slanting ceiling - the person in the corner bed has absolutely no headroom. We had pushed the two beds to the middle of the room to get a modicum of headroom for the 'inside' guy. Apart from the beds this big room has a 4-seater dining table and a kitchenette. In addition to this big room, there is a bedroom with a queen size (about 6'x6') bed. The beds are pushed under the acute angle of the slanting roof, with the result that the 'inside' person cannot come out of the bed for visiting the toilet etc at night. The kitchenette is also under slanting roof rafters. It is well equipped. Air conditioning works fine, but is available only in the big room - the smaller bedroom is expected to make do with this AC itself. Doors of both the rooms therefore have to be kept open at all times. The bathroom is perfect. Please be informed that this Apartment is accessible via as many as 52 rather steep steps, some of which do not even have a supporting handrail. Look out..... particularly if you have mobility issues or have heavy bags. Location of the Apartment just cannot be better. It is located right above the bustling streets of the Old Town. Everything in the Old Town is within 5 minutes of walking.

It’s perfectly located in the old town. It had everything needed for a short stay. Keko met us and gave us an introduction to the property and helpful information about the town.

Hotel Apartments Historic Stone House is an absolutely amazing place to stay. From the very moment we walked in we felt welcomed. The gentleman owner is extremely kind and helpful, he told us about the town, what to see here, where to eat, where the shops are. Our rooms were spacious, clean and perfectly decorated, which made us feel like we were in luxury. Most importantly, the location of this hotel is excellent. In the city centre, close to tourist attractions and restaurants. We can sincerely recommend Hotel Apartments Historic Stone House to all travellers looking for a unique and comfortable place to stay. We will definitely return here!
