No, security. Directions to the guesthouse poor. There is no bathroom door!!! No privacy

This was our 2nd night on honeymoon, decided to stay on because we enjoyed our wedding night there and had to savour the experience. The excellent bottle of champagne in ice bucket, n liquer chocolate each on bed, gauranteed my good rating. There is a spa which did not make use of but was good prospect for later. Felt refreshed when we left..after our hike to the lake, as well thevfarmy feel with horses chickens.. & a but cultured too with violin lesson type people sounds..and the original oil oauntings for sale in the Comma, restuarant. Breakfast wss great.

Same as in my first nights response. Guard dog appearing from around a bush in the dark gave heart beat a miss but no real problem..ressuringbthat dig can dudtiguush between guests and delinquents. Parking car at some distance —in the open- some didtance from ourvroom and out if sight..in crimevrudden South Africa..was a little unsettling.but after tge guard dog encounter felt bit better but would still have like my car to be closer and morw visible

Perfect for our impromtu honeymoon. Away from hustle & bustle. Lovely nature walk to the lake. Ablutions fine.. Linen tiwels allgood, sufgivient hanging soace. When the chocolate cake at Marua te room was rich for one sitti g, let us take to room. Excellent champagne provided in ice bucket. Breakfast - pay extra- at restusrant was excellent. Very refreshing all in all

When I liked the room the first night, I couldnt get the same discount from Booking. com when we decided to stay an additional night..which we would have got if we had done the initial booking for 2 nights instead of one..so Booking.com could have come to the party ..but I didnt know ahead of time that my bride to be would like the honeymoon bed so I had to keep my options open! Apart from that, all was well, except when we were locked inside the guest house section next morning and couldnt get immediate telephone response, fortunately we were on honeymoon and made good of the moment seeing as we were not going anywhere. So panic did not set in. The security Rotweiller, that came round to the front step in the dark, where we were sitting sipping our aphrodisiac-type Love liquers, just sniffed at me and moved on, well trained, re assuring but still a bit of a heartbeat-miss moment.

I did not know there are such lovely places in Rayton. The coffee shop was also lovely All the staff that we met were lovely.

We dont like open bathrooms in our room. However, the water was hot, the bathroom served its purpose for our short visit.

Very quiet and beautiful surroundings
