Tube Resort by EHM

I wanted to share my experience at the hotel during my recent stay. The location is excellent—right next to the pier, making it easy to avoid walking on hot sand. The beach is pristine, with clear water and vibrant marine life. The rooms are spacious with essential amenities, though oddly missing hand soap. However, there are some areas that need attention: - Housekeeping only services rooms upon request, with no signage to indicate service needs. I had to wait two days for fresh towels. - The hotel lacks evening activities or even background music at the pool, which may disappoint guests looking for social interaction. - Bar staff struggle with English, leading to slow and sometimes confusing service. Dirty glasses and dishes were frequently left around the pool area. - Dining options are limited and overpriced, with no dessert menu or even coconuts available—surprising for an island resort. While the breakfast was excellent and the view from my room was breathtaking, the overall management could benefit from improvements in service efficiency and guest engagement. Unfortunately, this isn’t a place I would return to.

Fantastic small resort on the beach, with tube shaped bungalows. Good food, choices from Asian or western foods for breakfast.

Liked it all - bit of a trek to get a taxi boat to the other bay.

The beach and pool are very nice and I was quite impressed with the general quality of the included breakfast.

The tube we were given had no TV, and no fridge (despite being advertised) and no door handle on the sliding entry door on either the inside or the outside. And our door didn't close all of the way either leaving almost a 1 inch gap for mosquitos, bugs, and other critters to get in. So things obviously didn't start off very good for us. They eventually brought a Fridge, partially fixed the gap in door (only 1/4 inch of space now) and added a pull handle to both the inside and outside of the sliding door. Every other tube room had door handles but ours, and I have no idea why. We talked to the front desk about having no TV in room and we were told that they got rid of all TVs from rooms a long time ago.....several months at least. The worker said he has been there 3 months and they've been gone since before he arrived. I struggled with this info because TVs showed on their website for months before we booked our room and even on the day we checked in, their website as well as booking.coms website, still showed TVs in rooms. We just got a basic apology and that was pretty much it. The problem with that is this. This section of the island is very isolated and there is absolutely zero to do after sunset other than eat dinner and go back to your room. And although we knew it was quiet there and there probably wouldn't be much to do out of your room at night, we felt prepared because we brought our chrome cast which we planned on hooking up to the tv to watch Netflix and other streaming services like it. Of course, with no TV, we were screwed. It might be ok if you were only here for 2 nights but we booked for 6. So with nothing to do on the premises after dinner, and no TV to watch in the room as advertised, we were pretty annoyed to say the least. And then on our check out day we booked the 12 pm speed boat ferry through the front desk worker to take us back to mainland as we had a 2 pm train to catch to Kampot.

Everything, everyone. Clear, clean, warm water. Sandy beaches. Great food. Great staff. The perfect place to turn off and relax. If you want fast internet or to sit in your room watching TV, this is not the place for you. Look past the fading paint, and this place is the ideal beach side location to relax.

The resort looked great on paper but was something of a disappointment in real life. There is no real competition in the area and it shows in the staff’s lack of care, the dilapidated state of some of the accommodations, the regular shortage of available loungers and the state of the cuisine, especially at breakfast time! I suppose, given the price, we should have expected what we got, which was more youth hostel than luxury accommodation.

The breafast buffet was good and food at the restaurant too but small menu. Beach is nice there but more for older. No nightlife

Not much selection on the menu. Not much to do there. Its a place to relax for 3 days

The accommodation is lovely, the tubes are really nice and sat outside on the bench lounger is a nice touch and the dressing gowns.

Bed is a little hard. Expensive in the resort.

The employee Sochoi is the best; he was so helpful
