USWe enjoyed our stay here. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The property itself appeared to be well kept for its age and the exterior was clean. It was in a quiet area. The bed was comfortable and the staff, especially Cleo in the breakfast room, was wonderful. Also, they offer chile verde on the breakfast bar and it was some of the best I've ever had! They have one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had with fresh oatmeal, tons of bread options, eggs, etc.
It's hard to find anything we didn't like. We ended up in an accessible unit and I guess it would have been nice to know that ahead of time but that's really the only complaint I can find.
USUSUSUSWe had a wonderful stay at the Baymont by Wyndham Cortez, which is perfectly situated just at the edge of town and just 10 min to the entrance of Mesa Verde National Park. Even though the property is a bit older, our room was impressively clean and spacious, and the quiet heater made for a very restful night. We also really enjoyed the indoor pool and the hot continental breakfast, which featured great options like scrambled eggs, sausage, and pancakes. It is only a short, easy drive to the city center to walk around and find restaurant, making this a convenient and comfortable home base for exploring the area

An extra blanket on the bed would of been nice. Especially during these cold months. The bathtub had a large crack in the side that looked terrible. That should be replaced instead of patched , it was large . It did not leak during bathing .
