Most of the restaurants I was interested in were no more than 15 minutes away.

The facility is not ready to receive customers. You can see dead cockroaches in the corridors The linen on the bed had stains on it. The floors in the room were filthy. No trash cans in the rooms. There were no real towels, only hand towels and wash cloths. Check-in was complicated, and so was checkout. They did not advise ahead of time that the pool was not open, major disappointment to my kids. The fridge stunk big time. The microwave also was not clean and had a fowl oder. The A/C did not work properly, We had to run it for close to four hours just for the room to become comfortable. We had to leave for some time till that was accomplished. The room was full of dust, walls, and curtains. Breathing was difficult for a couple of days after leaving. Even though the rooms were supposed to be non-smoking, there was an overpowering smell of smoke..

Dead roaches on the walls and microwave, hair coming from the shower head, the mattress had stains on it and the sheets were full of stains.

The only thing to like was the kind young lady who checked us in.

Room was filthy sheets to the floors the toilet seat wasn't even bolted down . Bad neighborhood drug addicts walking around parking lot the smell of marijuana was thick people working on cars in parking lot . Must have been government housing 1 person said they " lived there " for 3 months. Glad wasn't there long we stay on our way fishing obx 4 times a year but will never go back there period!!!

How clean and quiet it was. Also that they were pet friendly. The manager was accommodating for when we first arrived by giving us a bottom floor.

That the first room given to us had not been cleaned etc and it was noticeable but the manager made it right by giving us another room that was clean and on bottom floor.
