Basic hotel 25 minutes from the Edinburgh airport front desk was friendly and helpful.

Lovely clean place and staff were lovely very helpful and friendly, definitely recommend even though it’s on an industrial state area don’t let that put you off it, it’s lovely and quiet and loads of rabbits around at night so that shows how peaceful it is

No restaurant or bar on site. Bed and pillows not particularly comfortable but everything clean and staff friendly and helpful.

Room was well equipped and very clean. Stay was on a very warm night so needed the windows open for ventilation. However there was a pungent smell from outside, (industrial estate?) not sure from where but not very pleasant. Also the room was close to a large bin and the lid clattered loudly every time the staff placed rubbish in it. Apart from this, nice hotel

We booked for two nights to see the Keplies and Falkirk Wheel. The hotel is only a few minutes walk to the Keplies, The Premier Lodge is situated on an industrial estate so there aren’t any facilities nearby but we found Bruce’s Taxis very reliable. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and efficient and couldn’t be faulted. As it seems to be aimed at contractors and visitors to the industrial estate there are good kitchen facilities for self catering if required. The main problems we encountered were a lack of soap holder in the shower (a pet hate of mine). As we were on the ground floor G4 it would have been nice to have something like net curtains to the windows to let in light whilst ensuring privacy from the car park and adjacent businesses. There were no power sockets above the bedside cabinets which would have been nice and fairly easily installed as there’s a half covered socket near the headboard to feed them from. On the first night we were woken abruptly by a loud noise from a factory nearby but that’s just down to location. All in all it was a positive stay and I would have rated it five star with some fairly cheap amendments.

Nice and clean with friendly staff. Also a bit of a kitchenette for everyone to use was handy. Didn’t like that it was away from the town

Will definitely stay here again, hotel in a random industrial estate; seems odd, but it’s great! It’s so quiet, McDonald’s and M&S just a 3 minute drive away, room is so clean, biscuits and a kettle; what more could you want! Lovely lady on reception desk who is so helpful and friendly, honestly, really surprised at how good it is here!!
