"We had a lovely short break in SFO and La Quinta hotel was more comfortabke thsn our expectations ."

This hotel was very clean, good breakfast , friendly staff. We had requested lower level room and it was ready for us . There were lovely plants on the short walk to our room and the flowers fragrance was very good. Shuttle service was on time with friendly driver.

"Overcharged me for nightly parking for 105.00 a night, said they would credit me for the 5 nights then never did."

I have spent probably 10,000 or so at this particular property of the La Quinta brand. I love the other La Quintas but this particular property has a problem with delivering what they say they will. The rooms every time were loud as you could hear the pipes from inside the wall making noise every time someone took a shower or flushed. Also, the housekeeping laundry is right below so that makes noise throughout day. Housekeepers walk by rolling carts over pavement that has bumps so there is constant noise outside window on first floor. The general manager is greedy and dishonest in my opinion. He, along with front desk person said I would be credited for them charging me 105.00 a night x 5 nights for parking instead of 15.00. They refunded one 105.00 charge then showed me in their own internal system they would the other charges but I got my transaction history from my debit/credit card and it never happened. I only found out after I asked to see a copy of the bill while still staying there and saw the overbill. I talked to one of the people who own it then the general manager David Dee. They can type anything they want in their own internal system but it doesn't happen in real life until you see your previous transactions through bank.

"Nice and comfortable"

"Nasty carpet and smelly room"

Location

The carpet was filthy and the room very smelly. The sheets were not just washed , they looked kinda clean , but with the usual wrinkles like if someone used it the night before .
