Great Location, Close to Everything! Elevator may be a little small, but the Historical Design can be appreciated

Good sized and clean room. Friendly staff. Great location. Enjoyed the stay and would choose again anytime I am in Indy.

Property was in a good location and the staff was helpful but I don't think it was worth the price.

We loved the staff, especially Teddy, at the restaurant. Super nice and attentive guy, really helped make the restaurant visit better. And, can't forget BOTH valet! The young man was super nice, and your employee of the month got two vehicles moved in one go. Talk about fast service!!!! Our room was clean, and the lobby smelled fantastic. The location, while a beautiful historic building, was not the best. There were lots of homeless around and nothing really to do around, though we were there for DCI. But being downtown, it was a nice area. When we exited our hotel room on Saturday, the 7th floor reeked of marijuana. We did tell the front staff who seemed to react to it. When we got back much later, the 7th floor still smelled of nothing but marijuana. All of my complaints are outside of this hotels control, but it would be nice to see that there really isn't much family-friendly within walking distance. You want to eat or drink, yes that is in walking distance. I am from a small town and city driving makes me nervous so valet parked the car and it didn't come out till we left Sunday. I think calling out that the mall is shut down and moved 20 minutes away, and most things are closed or close early, would be very helpful, especially when planning a trip somewhere you have never been. The scooters (Lime and Byrd) would also be a great thing to include in detail around the hotel - they are, in my opinion, the best way to travel around the city.

Sorry, I put it all into one, but the negatives were the area and that the 7th floor smelled of marijuana for an entire day of our stay. And when I say smelled, I mean it smelled like someone was tokin a fat one off and on throughout the entire day it was so strong. Nothing within the hotels control but I felt it was worth mentioning.

The staff was incredible. So much kindness and hospitality. Fresh fruit every morning was a nice touch and the room was immaculate.

Terrible rooms with the bathroom 2 feet from the bed. Sliding door to bathroom doesn't close limiting privacy. Inadequate lighting in room. Soft pillows provided no support. Would absolutely never stay here again

Stayed here due to proximity to the stadium and St. Elmo’s Steakhouse. Loved it. Easy parking in the garage across the street. Bartender LBJ at the restaurant was awesome, and breakfast was good. Beautiful hotel. Small but comfortable room.
