We were booked for December 18 for 2 nights and arrived early on the 18th. While waiting for check in time, we stayed by the pool near the reception area and spotted a huge rat lingering around and eventually entered their kitchen. As a person with phobia on rodents and explained to the staff that staying at the property will be impossible for me at that time, I asked the manager to cancel the reservation and asked for a refund to which she said yes. I went back and forth with El Puerto Boracay and Booking since December 20 only for the property to decline the refund request when the duty manager at that time assured us that she will corrdinate and explain the situation to their head office so we can get a refund. Truly a disappointing service- a waste of effort and time and ruined my overall Philippines experience.

All the staffs were accommodating, the room that was perfect for a family of four, and the superb location which was near to the beach and lots of places to eat!

It was raining when we arrived at the place so we had some minor inconveniences with mosquitos getting inside the room but the staffs resolved this immediately.
