"World's worst motel"

Could be the world's worst motel. It is a dump, period. Do not stay here unless it is the last remaining room in Detroit. The shuttle driver was the only redeeming feature of this abomination. He was competent and friendly.

"Great stay but shuttle pickup is delayed"

We stayed at Howard Johnson hotel in Detroit for the stay-park-fly for 10 days. The price was great and the hotel was easy to find. We parked and went in. Very friendly customer service at check in. We had an early morning flight. No issues with that. Then on return i called to get a shuttle and unfortunately it seemed to take a long time in the cold winter weather while i was waiting outside. I was told they would be right over but it took 40 min to arrive. I am not sure if this is common but i enjoy parking elsewhere and having the shuttle coming regularly so we don’t have to wait too long even if it costs a couple or dollars more per day. With early morning flights you definitely don’t feel like waiting a long time for pick up
