Great spot to stay close to family and friends and very comfortable and clean and pool is nice and clean and not to noisy there

This is an older motel, doors to rooms on outside. Outside is freshly painted and clean. But once you open the door to your room it’s brand new and beautiful. The king bed was amazing, shower with glass doors had great hot water and pressure. The vanity had 2 high end glass bowl sinks located outside the bathroom. Had a leather loveseat, plenty of room. Outside in the courtyard was a gas fireplace with comfortable seating. Breakfast was yummy and plenty of great coffee. Book your next stay here you won’t be disappointed.

Great location really friendly staff. Only critisism rooms are not soundproof, so people talking in their rooms was easily heard early in the morning.

Equus Inn was a great find in Ocala: clean rooms, comfortable beds, courteous staff, delicious breakfast in a sunny and friendly breakfast room. But our particular delight was the outdoor area. There is a lovely pool area with lounge chairs with thick cushions--but we didn't take advantage of that. Both evenings, we enjoyed the covered outdoor sitting area with fireplace. It was so tranquil and just warm enough on those chilly January evenings to sit and sip a glass of wine. This was something we hadn't anticipated and enjoyed to the fullest. Don't let the outside access put you off! I almost did and that would have been our loss!

We had a renovated room and it was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was hot and sufficient. Will definitely stay again. Staff very friendly. Lived up to its name and other good reviews. Pet friendly. Walked to area restaurants and shops.
