This is the best Hotel in Trieste. My suite was recently renovated with elegance and good taste. Sea view. Few rooms/suites in my corridor. Very calm. The perfect place to stay when visiting Trieste.

Location, elegant historical setting, ample room, helpful staff, abundant breakfast.

Two out of three elevators were out of service during our stay. The bathtub surface is very slippery…a bath mat needs to be available in the room. No glass ware was provided in the room beyond two tumblers in the bathroom. Most hotels of this stature have a pair each of still wine and Champagne glasses in the room for their guests to utilize.
