The check it was a total cluster mess. Check in clerk couldn't find my reservation. It took almost 25 minutes to check in. I had my Booking.com receipt and that didn't. Help. Evidently Booking.com and Holiday Inn Express don't share reservation information very well. The toilet in the room 305 had a loose toilet seat. My wife almost slid off the toilet when it turned to the side as she sat down. I went down to the front desk and told them about it. There was no maintenance man on duty. I asked for a screw driver to tighten the bolts and they didn't have a flat head screw driver to use. They gave me a table knife and I used that for a screwdriver to make the toilet serviceable. Housekeeping should have noticed the the loose seat when the cleaned the toilet. Maybe they didn't.

I had a 7 hour layover and decided to stay here because they had a 24 hour shuttle and it was close to the airport. I arrived at 11pm and left at 4am. Some of the good things were the 24 hour shuttle, decent bed, and a Waffle House within walking distance. I thought the bed was comfortable I just wish I had more time in it. They also had free coffee and the staff were friendly. If you're looking for a romantic stay with your partner this may not be my first choice. If you have a layover or have to get up really early for a flight this might be a fine. I will say the property was a little older and the hallways looked well loved. In fact all of the hotels nearby looked a little haggard. The Hampton Inn looked like the newest of the bunch. If I had another short layover this hotel would be a fine option.

Watching the planes was worth the stay itself

The front desk people were wonderful.And so was maid service the entire experience was well worth it the food was good too, and it was nice to have some beer in the evening
