Four Points by Sheraton Newark Christiana Wilmington

It was a lil noisy when you enter the lobby besides that the hallways were quiet.But first floor where the lobby and other rooms are to relax was very noisy. Nobody gave any problems though.

I checked in on the 1st of September and left on the 2nd because I am not satisfied with everything in the hotel. I am yet to get my refund for the remaining two nights that I didn't spend. Four points by Sheraton said my refund will be through Booking.com I'm yet to get any refund from Booking.com or Four Points by Sheraton

The staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean!

First of all, we loved that the hotel greeted the family and friends of the University of Delaware for their parents weekend! Very nice touch! The hotel was beautiful and very clean. Rooms were large and comfortable, and the bathroom was modern, spotless and well stocked. The breakfast area was very nice and staff in the restaurant were very accommodating.

The person who greeted us was professional however told me twice that we did not have breakfast included, even after I stated that I believe that we did. She went on to tell us that breakfast was $15 per person. I accepted what she said and thought I must have been mistaken. When we entered our room, I reviewed my booking confirmation, and sure enough the confirmation stated that breakfast was included. We went back downstairs to the same person who checked us in, and had to show her the confirmation on my phone. She subtly put the blame on booking.com and said that booking.com doesn't tell the hotel whether or not breakfast is included, only that we paid. If that was true, and she knew that, why didn't she try to confirm whether or not our breakfast was part of the booking during the initial check-in process? That was quite disappointing since we've NEVER had this issue using booking.com, which we frequently do.. She seemed somewhat unapologetic, and quite frankly blamed booking.com for their process. if I had not remembered that breakfast was included in our confirmation, we would have had to incur additional costs.

Only there for a night, but itvwas a good night.

Bed was extremely uncomfortable - the mattress was hard as a rock and dipped in the middle

The shuttle busses at the hotel location did not work how disappointing. This is the four season i expected high expectations being apart of the Sheraton.

Yes there were shops nearby.
