Four Points by Sheraton Newark Christiana Wilmington

Everything was clean. Had trouble with operating the Television but that was the only downside. Other than that I plan to stay again.

Television prompts confused the hell out of me. Please simplify. 😆 Off..On..Channels & A sound. That's all 😆

My boyfriend booked this hotel for us for Valentine’s Day through a third party. Upon arrival, we were told that our king room was no longer available even tho he had already booked and paid 3 days prior. We were offered a queen instead. Out of frustration, we asked to speak to the manager to see why this happened when we already had this room booked. Katherine, the general manager approached us immediately with such kindness and concern. She explained to us that the third party booking site always overbooks them and they are in the process of trying to correct it. She offered us a 50% refund, drinks for the both of us (on her) and to book a night in the future completely comped. She was extremely pleasant and understanding. She went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure we were happy during our stay. She even kept the bar open a little longer while we sat and had our drinks. We chatted and she gave us her contact info in case we needed anything going forward. We signed up to be members and we will definitely only book through Mariot now!!

My room that was offered was supposed to be an Upgrade room and I unfortunately never received that. Secondly the room that was offered had multiple lock and security issues because our cards were not working- and the door lock was unlocked/broken so anyone could just waltz right into our bedroom. After being moved the room was fine however we then were missing our furniture/ No Chair or Living room couch so we also weren’t able to lounge or sit while in the room unless in the bed. just a bit unfortunate and these things weren’t really rectified other than a 10$ discount on the nights stay.

Location, staff, cleanliness

Housekeeping didn't come in with fresh towels for second night stay. Need tables in suites so you can play games/cards

Janae the front desk clerk was wonderful.

The room had not been properly cleaned. Old take out bags could be found behind the fridge, and jacuzzi tub had hair in it.

Awesome staff. Stayed sat night. Stayed in to do stuff. Snow came and they easily accommodated us to stay another night so we didn't need to drive 2 hours in a snow storm.
