La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Seattle Downtown

We stayed at the downtown Laquinta on 8th avenue for 2 nights before leaving it on a cruise to Alaska. From where we were we were able to walk down to the Pike Place fish market, and explore the many shops and restaurants near the waterfront, walk to the 5 Point restaurant and bar and enjoy the atmosphere as well as great food - at the recommendation of the concierge! Everything was clean, the beds comfortable, great complimentary breakfasts, and the price of the room can’t be beat! Would definitely recommend to friends!

The beds were clean. It was serviced well daily. The coffee in room & inclusive breakfast was very handy.

The room was dowdy. Wifi was hard to log onto. There was no paper map. My husband lost his map that was in his bag on the outside removed when the luggage was stored by them. The staff couldn't direct where there were places to eat.

We liked to location within walking distance to the Space Needle and Chihuly Gardens. Breakfast was included. There were amenities and a hairdryer in the room.

We could not fully close the curtain and the light on the balcony is on all day, we could not turn it off, which kind of disturbed our sleep at night. So did the enormous noises of sirens (only single-glazing!) and the turned-off A/C (which we only discovered in the morning) and a non-desired wake-up call at 6 am that was somehow still registered in the alarm clock from another guest. The mattrace was too soft and the pillows were not comfortable. The bed had not been made on the first day. There were only 2 chairs in the room and the room was also very small. The breakfast consisted only of pre-cooked microwave dishes and wrapped containers (muffins, cinnamon buns, pizza rolls etc.). It was hard for me to see the trash of one entire family and imagine this every day. This is really not environmentally friendly and should be changed.

Clean smells, Clean room & nice size of room. Staff are kindness, great location of Seattle DT.

Instead microwave heat for BF, made fresh eggs& meats would be nice.
