Cheapest in the area - so that was good. It was as expected from the photos.

The only thing we were disappointed with was the extreme heat of the triple room. There were 2 fans on at top speed but the room was pretty airless and VERY hot. The only way to get air in was to have a large window into the communal area open - that was fine when we were about but were not happy to leave it open over night. As a result - the room became excessively hot. Cold shower helped.

Helpful and professional host. Well equipped kitchen, spacious bedroom and shared areas, very clean.

I met some fun people and the location was convenient for Manuel Antonio park.

Clean. Able to cook. The owner provided everything needed for us to cook so that we could solve our special dietary issues. After discovering no hot water in shower, we asked them to bring in buckets so we could boil hot water and take little showers accordingly. They upgraded our room with hot water for one night and moved us back to the original room without hot water but gave us the plastic buckets.

Room without AC. On top of that, without hot water making us felt very uncomfortable at the high temperatures every day and night with high humidity. Locals may be used to it already without problem but we had hard time there. Animal noise woke us up at 5 am. We should not have booked such a place. It is our fault.

A very clean and quiet place managed by a very friendly family who will help you with everything. The beds in the dorm are comfortable and far enough apart, there are fans near every bed, there are lockers to keep you stuff safe, the kitchen has everything you will need (note it is not really a bed & breakfast, you have to make your breakfast yourself), it is close to a supermarket and busstop that can take you to manuel antonio national park and Quepos for only 380 colones, for a fee they can do laundry for you and I needed some transportation to the main hospital of Quepos to catch a bus to golfito and they said they could bring me for a better price than a taxi which was very nice! All in all very happy with my stay, thank you a lot!

It is hard to say what I didn't like, overall I really enjoyed my stay. If I would give a recommendation to improve, it would be curtains and lights by every bed so that you will have a bit more privacy and light without disturbing anyone. Also, one of the main lights in the dorm hangs above a fan that gives some fast turning shadows when both the light and the fan are on which can make you feel a bit nauseated if sensitive to flickering lights.
