Fourwinds Lakeside Inn & Marina

I loved the property! It was beautiful and the staff were amazing. Only complaint I have is the restaurant. Insanely over priced and I definitely got food poisoning and so did my husband. But otherwise it was a great stay bwe are just avoiding the restaurant when we come back.

Don't go in February. We were aware the Marina was closed, but we're still looking forward to just have a lake view from our room. We were the only people at the entire resort, on Valentine's weekend, it was eerie... Also the room we booked was supposed to be lake front, but we were given a room that faced the empty parking lot. The guy at the desk wouldn't let us switch rooms, despite the place being empty. He wasn't helpful until we began looking for a refund, really don't think he even wanted us there. Glad we didn't die there.

This was a great place for a one night stop. We had very friendly staff, clean room and all things we needed.

Restaurant was not open

The property is absolutely gorgeous, and the grounds are impeccably maintained with stunning views all around. However, the hotel itself is in need of a major facelift. The rooms feel very dated, with an unpleasant musty smell and a muggy atmosphere that detracts from the overall experience.

Alwaya great time!!

Loved the proximity to the lake, the boat ramp. The restaurant on site was good, food and service was good. Reasonably priced for a resort restaurant. I thought the breakfast offering was very limited, lots of room for improvement. Overall good stay. Would stay again.
